What do the new base Sprites do?
Opening ammo boxes can upgrade a weapon; the chance increases as the Sprite levels.
Reveals nearby rare variants or their carriers, but also exposes your position.
After a knock or elimination, reveals nearby enemies to you and teammates for 3–5 seconds.
Why 109 obtainable instead of 111 cataloged?
IGN's July 31 update says both were made available too early and then vaulted. It reports an August 4 return for Ironmouse attributed to the creator, while no Gem Grim return date was known. Neither belongs in the completion denominator until current sources confirm a live release.
This policy prevents a player from being stuck below 100% because of a silhouette, datamine, accidental early release, or temporarily disabled entry. When either becomes obtainable, the data, totals, copy, structured data, sitemap date, printable sheet, and tests must change together.
v41.30 Sprite FAQ
How many new Fortnite Sprites were added in v41.30?
Eighteen entries currently count as obtainable. That is the change from the 91-entry v41.20 tracker to 109 entries.
Why do some guides say 111 Sprites?
They count two cataloged but currently unavailable entries: Ironmouse and Gem Grim. This checklist uses the 109 that players can obtain now.
Is Ironmouse in the current checklist?
No. As verified August 2, it remains excluded while vaulted. See the dedicated status page before spending matches searching for it.
