A Sprite becomes Mastered when you extract it at level 5. The four Quack variants unlock at 35 Water, 40 Earth, 45 Fire, and 55 Zero Point mastered-Sprite milestones.
How to master a Sprite
- Carry the Sprite and earn progress. Normal match actions such as eliminations and looting level the equipped Sprite.
- Reach level 5. The current system has five Sprite levels; level 5 alone is not the final safety step.
- Extract the level-5 Sprite. Deposit it at an Extraction Site, use a suitable Portable Extractor, or win the match with it carried.
- Check the Rewards track. Your mastered total advances milestone unlocks; use the local tracker to mirror what you have completed.
Extracting earlier at level 2 or 3 can bank a rare find before you risk losing it, but it will not count as mastered until you later extract it at level 5.

Epic's v41.30 notes explicitly say Part 4 adds the Quack variant, an Umbrella Glider, and the Lucky Locator. The Locator guarantees a chest containing a Sprite you have not collected yet.
